Fringe cups is a captivating wildflower that is most often found growing in riparian areas along streams and rivers or other moist locations in the Klamath-Siskiyou region. Fringe cups is a perennial plant in the Saxifrage family that blooms in April to May. The eccentric, bell-shaped flowers are a greenish-white color that have reflexed fringed petals, hence the common name. Fringe cups are clump-forming and spread by rhizome to form colonies in ideal conditions. Best grown in rich humus soil with medium to moist soil conditions in part shade.

Fringe cups (Tellima grandiflora) seed packets contain approximately 1800 seeds — they are very tiny seeds!
