Mezies’ fiddleneck is an annual wildflower that will bloom the first year and self-sow, making it a fun and easy species to grow. This spring bloomer is attractive to bees. It is often found in sunny meadows, hillsides, grasslands and disturbed areas. As the “fiddleneck” stem unrolls the flowers bloom from the bottom upward. The flowers are orange to yellow. A great species for a dry disturbed or difficult area.
