Description
The small yet vivid and bright flowers of small flowered penstemon are sure to liven up any rock garden or other location in a drought tolerant garden. Small flowered penstemon has dense whorls of downward facing blue to purple flowers that are attractive to hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators. Grows 4″-12″ tall. Small flowered penstemon is tolerant of and appreciates some occasional summer irrigation when grown at low elevations. A great species for a small space, rock garden, or included in a native dryland meadow.
