Description
Claspleaf twistedstalk is an intriguing perennial wildflower. The leaves encircle the stems and have a kink in them that gives a twisted appearance, hence the common name twistedstalk. A widely distributed plant throughout North America, twistedstalk grows in moist and shaded habitat. Greenish-white flowers and then large red berries hang from the leaf axils.
