What We Do
Klamath-Siskiyou Native Seeds offers a wide selection of native seeds from throughout the Klamath-Siskiyou region. From low-elevation oak woodlands and grasslands; up through mid-slope forests, streams and draws, to the high-elevation meadows and craggy ridgelines of the region. Seeds of all kinds of herbaceous and woody plants are offered: annual wildflowers, perennial wildflowers, woody shrubs, hardwood and conifer trees.
As we extensively hike and backpack around the region we sustainably and ethically collect seeds to offer to the general public, nurseries, non-profits, gardeners, native plant and pollinator enthusiasts, etc. Our goal is to have native seeds that are genetically adapted to the climate and habitat of the region available for everyone!
Our wildcrafted native seeds can be used in the following applications:
- Habitat restoration
- Pollinator gardens
- Rock gardens
- Wild tending
- Food forests
- Native plant conservation
- Permaculture
- Ornamental use
- Wildlife habitat
- and more!
All our seed is wildcrafted, collected by hand, cleaned by hand or seed cleaning machine, and packaged by hand. We offer seed packets as well as bulk seed. We sell our seeds online and at events throughout the local region.
